SABBATH KNIGHTS

Once upon a time in the rough back streets of Birmingham England lived Ozzy, Tony, Geezer & Bill. They got together and formed a blues/jazz band and played the pubs. They rehearsed across the road from a movie theatre. One day guitarist Tony noticed a line up of people outside the theatre for a horror movie.

 

He walked into rehearsal and remarked, ‘Isn’t it weird that people will line up and pay money to see something that’s going to scare the crap out of them.’ He continued, ‘maybe we should try writing horror music.’ And so they did. They wrote a song and called it Black Sabbath. Heavy metal was born. And the rest as they say is history.

Sabbath Knights are a tribute band that brings over 30 years of Black Sabbath worship to the stage. With note-for-note studio album renditions of all the essential Sabbath epics. From the timeless classics of Paranoid, Iron Man and War Pigs to the deeper cuts of the likes of Under the Sun, Hole in the Sky and Hand of Doom. Along with all the other monstrous slabs of doom.

 

Not to go without mention Sabbath Knights also add in a salute to the other classic Black Sabbath line up that featured Ronnie James Dio with Heaven and Hell and more.
